Acts 12:5 Prayer

“So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church.”

What If?

What if? What if today is that day that you've been waiting for? The day that God answers the prayer that you've brought before Him hundreds of times. What if today is the day the church prays to God for that particular soul, that missionary, that need for healing, that need for deliverance, those needed finances...and today is the day that God release His ministering angel to bring the answer to that prayer. Daniel 10:12 says that from the first day you set your heart to understand, God heard!! He has heard your prayer! What if?

If you would like to take a moment to worship God and pray for your needs, below are a couple of good songs to remind you of who has you in the palm of His hand.

As I sit here in these wee hours, pondering the many prayers that have yet to be answered, I’m conflicted within… It makes no natural sense to pray again, to ask again, to believe for the impossible again, or to grasp at the fleeting embers of hope just one more time…. Nevertheless, something within me compels me to restrain and take captive every doubt. Something tells me that a cloud the size of a man’s hand is drawing near. Something urges my hands to lay hold of that very small cruise of oil to begin to pour. Something propels me towards the prison bars of my loved one’s cell.

To try the key for the thousandth time. Something lures me closer to the water’s edge inciting faith to strike again the sea of impossibility…Something whispers softly in my ear that “Today,” could just possibly be the tomorrow that we have waited so many months and years for. Something annunciates that His Faithfulness has NOT FAILED. So….though the mountain of doubt looms high before me, I will look to the “Hill...where my help comes from,” and I will choose to believe for what my eyes have yet to see, because I know….That HE IS ABLE!
